Throughout The Expendables 2, I was imagining what the movie would be like if the characters were replaced with Captain America, Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos.

Lessons School Never Taught Me

Spider-Man taught me that with great power comes great responsibility. 

Captain America taught me that one man possessed by an ideal can win a war. 

X-Men taught me that it’s pretty awesome being different. 

Thor taught me that a man who takes pride in his own strength will always be brought down to size. 

Iron-Man taught me that nobody has a heart of steel.

Towards the end of the movie, Aaron Cross kills the government dogs hunting him with a bow and some arrows. Then he flees the country and changes his name to Barton. Post-credits shows a black dude in an eye-patch approaching him with a file labeled ‘The Avengers Initiative’.
